Developed at Boğaziçi University, 'Durable Vaccine Carrier Protein Microprocessing Technology' received a patent from the European Patent Office.
The vaccine technology, which was developed by Turkish scientists for the first time in the world and lasted for 30 days at room temperature from the ASC protein microspheres, received patent from Japan and USA last year.

Professor of Molecular Biology and Genetics at Bogazici University Dr. Nesrin Özören to, in his statement on the issue, "Triadic patent invention called, as Turkey's first and only biotechnology patents was now enshrined in the three regions of the world," he said.
