Burberry, the UK's luxury apparel brand, has announced that it has ended the practice of burning millions of pounds of non-sold products.
The company, which is widely criticized about the environmental sensitivity, will no longer use real fur in its collections.
Burberry, who burned his unsold product for £ 28.6 million last year, is preparing his first collection with new designer Riccardo Tisci.
The company will follow other famous brands such as Versace, Gucci and Stella McCartney and will not use the fur of rabbit, fox, mink and Asian raccoon.
. In our times, luxury requires responsibility to society and the environment. This is the key to Burberry's basic understanding and long-term success, ı said Marco Gobbetti, CEO of Burberry.
